Madame Tussauds Sydney

The kids and I decided to check out Madame Tussauds Sydney, which is right next to Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife Sydney Zoo. I'm sure you've read about my dilemma about not buying the Merlin pass the first time I took the kids to Sea Life and Wild Life. If not, you can read about those here and here. Madame Tussauds Sydney was the 13th Madame Tussauds that opened in the world, back in 2012 and is the only one of its kind in Australia.

Side Note: We ended up buying the Merlin Pass on my birthday, July 4, since M really wanted daddy to see the Penguin Ride. The Merlin Pass gives you unlimited access for a full year to 11 top attractions in Australia and New Zealand. We got the Family Pass, 2 adults and 1 child, for $69 AUD each, O is free since he is under 4 years old. An adult Merlin Pass retails for $99, while for a child, 4 years and up, retails $69. With a Merlin Pass, you also get discounts at the cafes, stores, etc. After buying our passes, we breezed through Sea Life, Wild Life and made our way to Sydney Tower all on the same day. Happy birthday to me!

As part of the Merlin Pass, we checked out Madame Tussauds or as M described it 'the one with the dancing people!' Being that it is a wax museum, the opportunities to take photos with your favorite celebrity are endless. M and O enjoyed the Sport Zone and dancing along with famous musicians and singers.
