On the count of three...

... Say Cheese!!!

If you're into photography, I'm sure you've been asked the following questions: What camera do you use? A dSLR? A point and shoot? Canon or Nikon?

Tom and I actually are Canon users, while a few friends favor Nikon. For rumors on new cameras from each brand can be accessed here: http://www.canonrumors.com or http://nikonrumors.com. Both are Japanese corporations that specializes in optics, cameras, computer printers and etc. Both have been around since the early 1920s. So, in my opinion, if you are planning to get a camera, you can do no wrong getting yourself a Canon or a Nikon.

Since the hubby and I are Canon users, this blog will be catered to that brand. (Sorry, to Nikon lover out there! Maybe, I'll touch on Nikon products in the future) Just this past week, Canon just released their new dSLR, the Canon 5D Mark III.

We've just gotten ours and are playing with it. First impressions- it feels A LOT more ergonomic than the last dSLR we have. It's friendlier to people who have small fingers (me!). The buttons, to me, took me a little while to get used to. I've been used to turning on the ON/OFF switch on the right side of any camera that I've used, but the Mark III, has it on the left. I guess, it frees up more space for other buttons.

More review and pictures later... But, I have to say, the pictures I've taken so far look amazing. Can't wait to try it out more!!
