A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That...

As with everything, it always starts with an idea and that very first step. This blog was an idea, and the very first step- was actually starting one and sustain it. This blog has seen its days, weeks, ummm... months of no activity. But, all of that change, with taking that very first step again. (Basically, opening my computer and signing in to write a post... It's actually more of, staring at the screen, trying to figure out what to write about)

I figure, I'll start a weekly series of things that I found on the net that I find interesting or of note. This is the start of A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That. Maybe, I'll do this every Wednesday. Seems fitting, since it the middle of the week, and it's HUMP DAY!!! Who doesn't LOVE hump day?!?

Here are the few sites that I've found that is worth being mentioned...

1. A dear friend forwarded this site to me awhile back:  http://plentyofcolour.com/. The site is maintained by Chloe, who is a Vancouver-based designer in love with color. Her site is devoted to sharing pictures as well as collecting inspiration with color in mind. I love checking out this site just for ideas and inspiration and just to see... well, color... Did I mention, that just like Chloe, I am in love with color as well!
2. Another site is http://9gag.com. It's a site aimed for just having fun. It follows memes and other funnies out there posted by people just like you. My dear brother mentioned this site last night after discussing many different memes out there. Speaking of memes, I'd like to start a meme for my dog Bijou... But, that's another topic altogether.
3. Another site, which has been around for a LOOOOONG time, is http://dpreview.com. The reason why, this made it to my list today, is due to this review for the Canon 5D Mark III. See here: Dan Chung 5D. The hubby just recently bought this toy to play with, so, I've been trying to see what other people have to say about it. 
4. Another one, related to the post above, is from Jerry Boonyaratanakornkit. He also just bought the Canon 5D Mark III. He uses it for taking videos- see here: Red Velvet. This is a video of his wife making some red velvet cupcakes. Don't they look delicious? I want some, now...
5. Lastly... Granted, the hubby will be very happy that I'm talking about dessert. Check this amazing Cake Mix Recipe from My Baking Addiction.
