Decorating Ideas
"Ideas can be life-changing. Sometimes all you need to open the door is just one more good idea."
- Jim Rohn
I'm still looking into ways of decorating the house. There are still a lot things that needs to get done... and, decor is definitely one of them.
Here are some ideas that I want to incorporate into the house:
1. Glass jugs- Aren't these beautiful? Glass jugs to me are very airy and can reflect light. Imagine filling these glass jugs with flowers? I know, I can...

2. Rugs- I need rugs in the house. We have hardwood floors running throughout the house, so rugs are necessary. I love this rug below, which is the Ankara Dhurrie, from West Elm- the colors are great. The design is simple and complex enough to garner conversation.

3. Chair. I love this chair from Crate and Barrel. This is definitely going to be purchased sometime in the near future! This is their Tess Chair. So comfy!

So imagine this chair, along with this... (maybe, in a different color?) It looks like a drum and I think it will play off with the angles of the chair. You can get this table from Crate and Barrel.

Or with this... It is also drummed shape. You can get this accent table from Pottery Barn.

4. Art- I need some artwork on the walls...
I love cityscapes and these are from Crate and Barrel which feature prominent city landmarks.

I like these as well for the entryway... Both are from Pottery Barn. One is their decorative metal disc and the other is their garden lattice. I'm leaning towards the garden lattice more than the metal disc simply because it would look a lot warmer on my yellow walls.

This is it for now... Hopefully next time, I will have some of these inspirations in my house in the near future.
Until next time.
