SF International Tea Festival

TEA! Green tea, white tea, black tea... any kind of tea.

If you love tea and you're in the Bay Area, the San Francisco International Tea Festival is happening this Saturday, February 25th, 2012. It will be held at the Ferry Building in the city from 10am to 5pm. Tickets are $20, but if you've signed up for Google Offers, they have a deal for the event for 50% off the ticket price. 


There will be a Gongfu Tea Ceremony at 11am and at 12pm by Roy Fong. He is the founder and proprietor of SF's Imperial Tea Court, the first traditional Chinese tea house in America. There will be cooking with tea demonstrations as well as talks in regards to the history of tea.

Just like any other festival, you get your own tasting cup, so you can sip your way around the place. This is my first time going to a Tea Festival and I can't wait.
