Bay Area- February Events

It's a whole new year and there are a whole new set of events occurring in the Bay Area that I am looking forward to. This post is a little late, since there were a few events that occurred in the past few weeks or so, that I was unable to attend. Hopefully, I'll be able to attend some of these events with the hubby and friends- we have the rest of the month of February until the end of the year.

Let's see what's happening for the rest of February: (Focus is on wine and beer)

Check out SF Beer Week. To be updated on current information regarding SFBW, you can even download their app for both the iPhone and Android. Sponsors for this event range from the San Francisco Brewers Guild to BevMo, Gordon Biersch, etc. SF Beer Week will kick off the celebration at the Concourse Exhibition Center on 8th Street in the city, this Friday, the 10th. Over 50 breweries will be showcasing their rarest as well as their interesting beers. Tickets for this event is about $55.00-$65.00.

SF Beer Week will be happening all around the Bay Area. Check out the website to find an event closest to you. Also, several restaurants are also participating in this. If you love pizza, you can check out Pizza Antica in Mill Valley, San Jose and Lafayette. Their pizza's are great and if you're in the mood for pizza, I suggest to try heading out there and having some beer from the Russian River Brewing Company.

There is also Beerwalk in Japantown San Jose. It's also this weekend on the 11th from 2-5 pm. It's almost similar to doing a pub crawl but you'll enjoy walking through San Jose and visiting local stores and shops while enjoying beer from both local and imported breweries. Tickets for this event is about $29.00 online and $35.00 the day of the event.

If you love beer, go out there and ENJOY!
These are just a few choices of events that you can enjoy around the Bay Area. Granted, it is a little biased on my side- I love wine and the hubby loves beer. So, forgive me if all the focus was on these two. There are also food events going on during the month of February. There are gourmet walks to culinary walking tours.
