Grammy 2012 Recap

Music's big night came and went... (Sorry for the late recap)

It was the most watched Grammy's due to the recent loss of Whitney Houston over the weekend, just before the show. Her unexpected death placed a somber cloud over the event, but nonetheless, to me, the show seemed a bit tepid.

Granted, I watched the Grammy's simply because I wanted to watch Adele's performance. Bruno Mars did a great job and I loved watching him. Adele's performance was great and what a great way to make a come back. Katy Perry's performance was okay, love the girl power message she added, as she sang her new song. Jennifer Hudson's rendition of Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You,' just pulled at your heartstrings and you can see that she was getting emotional as she sang the song. I love listening to Taylor Swift's 'Mean,' and her performance struck a chord, since it seemed very similar to her music video. Chris Brown, what can I say, it was a little blah... I can tell that he lip-synced his whole performance, which is fine, considering he was jumping around everywhere.
