Jet Lag, What's That?

In an effort to combat jet lag, we accompanied our dear friends for a day trip out to Manly on Sunday. We celebrated one of dear friends birthday's and Sarah's husband from A Passport Is a Girl's Best Friend, Duane. It was our first full day down under and the weather was perfect.

We started the day with coffee and pastries from Bourke Street Bakery in Barangaroo and waited to board the ferry from Darling Harbour with our friends. Taking the ferry is also a great way to see all the major sites that Sydney as to offer.

Cheese! Can you tell that my dear hubby has been up since 4am along with the kids?

Upon arriving in Manly, which is a 30 minute ferry ride, we ate at Four Pines Brewing Company. It came highly rated according to reviews we saw online but service was very slow and we had to constantly flag down our server.

We walked through the Manly Market and watched the surfers on Manly Beach as we ate our ice cream, before taking the ferry back.
