A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Here we are again, another week has passed by. Let's note that this is the second week in the month of May. Time is flying by so fast. I guess, it's true what they say- time flies when you're having fun. And, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. There are times during the day, the week, even the month where I just don't want to do anything. Remember those times during college, where you just procrastinate until the very end and you ended up getting stressed out. I feel that. Especially, during the moments where I know that I promised to write this post every week... And, the homework that I have to do to prepare for it. Looking for interesting sites that appeal to not just me, but to you as well. But, I try my best and I hope that this weekly post shows that.

Here is the list for this week's A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That:

  1. http://stylesalvage.blogspot.com/- This blog follows two friends, Steve and EJ, on their discussions on how men could and do dress. This blog has been around since 2007 and it aims to showcase emerging design. Its nicely compiled where they have style commentaries, interviews with designers, journalists and even some DIY projects. It is an interesting read and I will probably read more of their posts in the near future and utilize some of their suggestions. The hubby is sometimes in need of help in terms of fashion. And, this blog would be good for him and for other men, out there. Maybe, sometime soon, I'll write a post or two on how to dress your other half.
  2. http://mehanskitchen.blogspot.com/- A food blog written by Mehan, who is a science librarian. I don't know what a science librarian actually does, but, maybe, I'll look into it, since I'm in the science industry as well. On the biotechnology side. Let's not get off topic, this food blog is very interesting. I love how she utilizes the dynamic template provided by Blogger and is in the magazine format. The pictures for each recipe looks amazing and makes my mouth water just by looking at it.
  3. http://sillynate.blogspot.com/- Art. By Nathan Boyd. He also has another blog,  http://arkable.blogspot.com/
  4. http://www.pret-a-voyager.com/- A blog written by Anne who loves Paris. I love her saying, "Travel is not about where you go, but how you see the world." I totally agree. Anne is a graphic designer as well as a communications consultant based in Paris. She started this blog back in 2007 as an outlet to combine both travel and design. She has great insight into Paris and I will probably take her experiences and opinion into account, when the hubby and I will plan our trip to Paris for later this year.
  5. http://effli.wordpress.com/- Came across this while looking at blogs in regards to travel in Paris. Effli is an anagram for life as describes by the author. Interesting posts but it seems like the last post was sometime last year in August.
