What I'm Watching Now :: Toddler Edition

Having a toddler around the house means a new change of scenery. And, this is especially true with the recent shows that I've been watching when the little peanut is awake and I need a few minutes to do some chores around the house. Thanks Netflix for having a kids only channel.

These are the shows that we have been watching along with the little peanut:

The Octonauts
  • The Octonauts -  a British children's TV series based on children's books written by Vicki Wong and Michael C. Murphy of Meomi Design Inc. The Octonauts are a crew of eight adorable adventurers, who live in an undersea base, the Octopod, who explore the ocean in search of adventure and fun! The little peanut loves the songs. Each episode has two 'adventurers' and they finish each adventure with a creature report.

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood
  • Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood - is a children's TV series on PBS based on the books written by Fred Rogers of Mister Roger's Neighborhood. The series is targeted at preschool-aged children, with each episode having two segments that teaches a socio-emotional theme, such as anger or sadness, etc. It also uses music to help reinforce the theme and help the children remember.
My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic
Tinker Bell - Secret of the Wings
  • Tinker Bell movies - The little one just loves everything that flies. And, the Tinker Bell movies has it in spades.

What shows would you recommend for a toddler? Please share so I can watch them along with the little one.

Until, next time.
