Switzerland :: Zweisimmen
A few days ago, I gave you a sneak peek into our travels around Zweisimmen. We chose to stay in Zweisimmen, in the canton of Bern, to be away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to just enjoy being a family. We decided to book our getaway through AirBnB and found a charming apartment (more on this later) nestled in the mountains. Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home.
I wanted to share some photos from one of the days spent just walking around the area. Even though it was in the middle of October, the weather was remarkably nice, being in the 70s, which is a definite change from when we were in Switzerland two years ago. There was no need for heavy jackets, unless of course, you decided to want to take a walk at 8am, when the temperature is still around 50 degrees. The apartment is an hour walk from the village, which you can see in the picture below.
