Christmas Shopping on Etsy :: Children Edition

Etsy is amazing. If you haven't checked it out, please do so. With Christmas lurking just around the corner, I've plunged myself into another black hole that is Etsy, aside from Pinterest, as I have mentioned last time in this post.

Lately, I've been wanting to find unique presents for little ones. And, Etsy is one place to go to on the web to look for it. Or, you can also hit up local craft fairs in your area. I attended the Renegade Craft Fair in SF this past July and am looking forward to one coming up in November. {Check out Renegade Craft for one near you} The hubby and I came away with some unique crafts for the house as well as presents. We can talk about this some other time...

Here are some toys that I'm looking at lately at Etsy for kids:

1. For someone who has a child who loves taking pictures but is not ready for the real thing- get them a wooden toy camera from Twig Creative. They specialize in handcrafted modern wooden toys and children's furniture. We got this same camera for our little one and she totally loves it.

2. Just learning how to walk- if you don't like the corn popper walkers, this is a great alternative.

3. For someone who loves puzzles!

4. For a beginner reader:

5. For the creative artist:

Mens and Ladies will be coming up next... so, until, next time...
