A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Just another hump day to get us through the work week...

I want to focus this week's A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That on sleep! As I have mentioned in several posts back (A Baby Gamer, Halfway There, Home Stretch :: 28 weeks), the hubby and I are expecting a little peanut and with that, the advent of many sleepless nights coming our way. But, despite that, we are looking forward to making and building new memories with our growing family. 

So, let's talk about sleep... As many women before me have experienced before in their pregnancy, sleep becomes harder to come by during the last trimester... But, let's focus on why sleep is important for all of us.

1. Not getting enough sleep can make your skin worse - more breakouts...

2. More sleep = body is able to hydrate and balance. 

3. Not getting enough sleep can also lead to weight gain.

4. You look older if you don't get enough sleep, since it tends to accelerate the growth process.

5. If you can't sleep, try taking a nap during the day. Napping has apparently been shown to increase the following: alertness, improves memory, increases productivity. 

All in all, let's all try to get some ZZZZZ's in. That's why we all need our 'beauty sleep!'
