Next stop - Copenhagen!

Copenhagen to me is always the city where you can see The Little Mermaid statue, built for one of Denmark's famous authors - Hans Christian Andersen. It was one of the cities to me that I will eventually travel to sometime in my lifetime. Well... that sometime is now. And, I am so excited! I'm trying to curb my excitement over seeing the statue - I don't want the experience to be the same as my experience seeing the Leaning Tower in Pisa. (Let's just leave that story for another post.)

Here are the top things that I'd love for the whole family to do while in Copenhagen:

PLACES
  • Tivoli Gardens
  • Nyhavn
  • Copenhagen Zoo
  • Amalienborg
  • Rosenborg
  • Christianborg Palace
  • Experimentarium
  • Amager Strandpark
  • Christianshavn
  • Den Blå Planet :: The Blue Planet, Denmark's National Aquarium

DAY TRIPS
  • Malmö
  • Billund for LEGO House and LEGOLAND
  • Frederiksborg Castle

FOOD
  • Copenhagen Street Food
  • WestMarket We went there earlier today to grab some dinner and all the stalls are closed. We spoke with a lady who mentioned that the whole place got bankrupt.
  • The Meat Packing District
Any other recommendations?

Se dig snart, København!
