Food Scene :: AFTERS Ice Cream

We went to AFTERS, an ice cream shop that recently opened at The Collection at Riverpark in Oxnard, a few days ago to help beat the heat in Ventura. The last time we were here was when they just opened their doors to the public last month - the lines were out the door. This time around, no lines! They offer some of their signature flavors like Jasmine Milk Tea, Cookie Monster and Milk Cereal. You can choose to have your ice cream in a Milky Bun instead of a cake cone or a waffle cone or a cup. The Milky Bun is a mix of your choice of ice cream stuffed in between a glazed bun. 

We got the following flavors - Cookie Butter (tastes like Biscoff Coikie Butter), Mint Monster, and Vietnamese Coffee. The last time, we also got Cookie Monster. You have your choice of toppings from sprinkles to gummi bears. It's a great place to get ice cream - a good option from Baskin Robbins. (Not to say, that I don't eat ice cream at Baskin Robbins. I do.) A scoop can run you between $4 to $8, depending (see picture below).
