{City Love} :: A la Carte and Art Festival

This past weekend was the 18th Annual A la Carte and Art Festival in downtown Mountain View. It ran over the weekend- Saturday through Sunday from 10am until 6pm. It is safe to say that downtown Mountain View never felt busier.

There was live music playing from one end of Castro street and another at the other end. Basically, Castro Street was closed to cars and open to just foot traffic. The hubby gleefully stated, "WOW! We can cross the street diagonally!"

Vendors range from selling paintings to Christmas ornaments to clothes. Plus, you can drink alcohol as you wind your way up and down the street.

Here are some photos from this past Sunday!

Something for the kids.
clothes for babies
Wooden toys. We decided to get something here for the little one.
Band playing at one corner. The drummer is a young boy of about 10, maybe. He was pretty good. You can barely see the top of his head.
This was funny!

These are just some snippets from the A la Carte and Art Festival, I will post more photos of some of the vendors that we decided to buy something from.

P.S.
