when i think back to that first week with my little one, i am filled with so many emotions.

i remember the exact moment i held her close to me and completely forgot about everything else. the whole world melted away and it was just us. just me, my husband and our new bundle of joy. it's funny how exhausted and tired and how the pain just literally melts away once i held her. we were just in awe at this new little human being and for being entrusted with something so special, so healthy and beautiful and perfect. i didn't know i could love someone so much until i held her.

our entire world had changed for the better. it has been both a joy and a struggle as we navigated life as new parents with no guidebook to help us. it has been amazing getting to see this little one grow and develop and i know that it will just keep getting better and better.
