A Little Bit of {Angelica} in my Life...
Having Angelica is a dream...
Angelica is a sweet wine from Swanson Vineyards. We stumbled upon Angelica during a trip out to SF Vintner's Market back in 2010. {You can read the post here!} Angelica is made from one of the oldest continuously producing Mission grape vineyards, planted back in 1856.
And, as part of my birthday present from my husband, he decided to take me to Swanson Vineyard for one of their salon tasting.
The Salon Tasting is offered only 3x daily (11am, 1:30pm and 4pm) and is limited to 8 guests. This tasting lasts for about an hour and deeply explores the most celebrated wines from Swanson Vineyard. When, we were there, we were able to taste about 8 different wines along with some cheeses that go along with the wines. And, Angelica was the last wine we tasted. And, it still tasted just like how I remembered it to. It was beyond amazing! (As a result, we ended up joining their wine club -- not that, it was a hard decision!)
If you have not tasted Angelica, book a reservation at Swanson Vineyard on their website here or by calling them at 707.754.4018. Prices are about $65/person.
Until, next time!!!
