Beauty in a Box: Glossy Box #1
"Beauty is how you feel inside, and it reflects in your eyes.
It is not something physical."
- Sophia Loren
I'm very excited to say that I received my very first Glossy Box. I'm sure you've heard and have maybe even tried, Birch Box. Glossy Box is very similar. For a price, you get five travel sized samples delivered each month.
I was very excited in opening it. The smell from the Blushed fragrance by Ruddy Water greeted me first, at least, that's what I think the smell was. It was heavenly. The box comes with a mag that features what you can do with the products inside. The products are: (1) Heel Rescue Balm by Alessandro International, (2, 3) Color Ignite Multi Tone Shampoo as well as Conditioner by Sebastian, (4) Lip, Face and Body Balm by Figs & Rouge, and lastly, a (5) mineral eyes shadow trio by Senna Cosmetics. And, the special treat, was the Blushed fragrance...
I can't wait to try them out.

Granted, Glossy Box is a wee bit more than its contender, Birch Box, at $21 instead of $10. And, I'm not advocating to anyone out there to get Glossy Box, all it comes down to, is what you prefer. (I'm still waiting on my Birch Box subscription...) Another beauty box that is out there, in the same price range as Birch Box is Beauty Box 5. Both or all of these beauty boxes will send you 5 sample sizes and maybe, add something extra. They offer subscriptions, monthly, or if you prefer yearly, and you can cancel anytime you want (just read the FAQs). The nice thing about Birch Box is they have collaborations, for instance, they collaborated with Glamour. I think, it'll be a great idea for a present to give to someone. And, the great thing about these beauty boxes, is you get introduced to many different brands out there that you might not have known about or was just afraid to try. Go ahead and try it out...
If you want more information on any other beauty boxes, you can check out Refinery 29's post on it or check out Glossy Box, Birch Box, Beauty Box 5.
