Tahoe

In winterall the singing is intop of trees.- Mary Oliver Tahoe. Even with such little snow, it is still a marvel of beauty. We drove up the Tahoe a few weekends ago to spend some time with friends and for some snow. Granted, when the plans were made, the promise of snow was great. 

Despite, the lack of snow, we made most of the weekend. We went sledding as well as a short hike, mini-walk, along with river with kids. The kids found a mound of untouched icy snow and had a great time stomping on it. 

 

We were rewarded with these views (from inside the car) of the sunset, on our way up to Tahoe.
